Star Mail is a story-driven snail mail club where every package is part of an unfolding universe. Each month features a short story from Estella the Star as she travels to a real, existing planet in the universe, paired with art and stationery inspired by that world.

This month's theme is "Fellow Stars We Meet Along the Way." It's inspired by my personal experience of learning to love my own company and finding people who are truly aligned with me as a person. The kind of people who never made me want to shrink myself, but instead made me want to be more of who I already am. That experience became a story about Estella, our cosmic wanderer, and the friends she finds drifting through the universe. She meets a rogue planet glowing all on its own with no star to orbit, and a pink star that literally crashes into her life laughing. It's a story about learning to love your own company, and then discovering that the right people show up when you stop forcing it.

I wrote this one for the friends who made my sensitive heart feel safe. The ones who didn't ask me to shrink. The ones who sat beside my light and said, "glow more." And if you've ever had someone like that in your life, this story is for you too.

Every piece in this month's mail was designed around that feeling of finding warmth in unexpected places. I hope it reminds you that you're not the only star in the dark, and that the right people will find you along the way.
